Protection Program

Seller Protection

Support for sellers who follow the rules

The short version

Follow our listing, messaging, payment, shipping, authentication, and delivery requirements to qualify for seller protection. Eligible sellers may receive support against certain false non-delivery claims, abusive returns, unauthorized-payment disputes, and other covered events. Limits, exclusions, deadlines, and evidence requirements apply.

When you may be covered

  • Tracking shows delivery to the address we supplied.
  • Required signature confirmation shows delivery to an eligible recipient.
  • A verified pickup confirmation shows the buyer received the item.
  • A buyer falsely claims non-delivery despite qualifying delivery evidence.
  • A buyer returns a different item, an empty package, or swapped parts.
  • A buyer files an abusive not-as-described claim contradicted by the evidence.
  • A buyer files a chargeback and your transaction meets our seller-protection rules.
  • A covered shipment is lost or damaged after you properly handed it to an approved carrier.

What protection can look like

  • We defend the payment dispute on your behalf
  • Your eligible proceeds are released
  • Reimbursement of some or all of the eligible transaction value
  • Payment of an approved carrier or insurance claim
  • Reversal of an abusive refund
  • Removal of account penalties that should not have applied

What we ask of you

  • Keep communication and payment on .
  • Actually possess or control the item you offer.
  • Describe and photograph the real item, and disclose defects, repairs, and damage.
  • Complete verification, proof-of-ownership, and authentication requests.
  • Ship only to the address we supply, using the approved method, within the promised handling period.
  • Upload valid tracking on time and buy any required shipping protection or signature confirmation.
  • Package the item properly and keep your shipping and packaging evidence.
  • Record serial numbers and identifying details.
  • Respond promptly and accept an approved return.
  • Never change terms or request payment off the platform.

What seller protection does not cover

  • Shipping to any address other than the one on the transaction
  • Missing tracking or missing required signature confirmation
  • Insufficient packaging, or shipping late without buyer consent
  • An item materially different from the accepted offer, or undisclosed defects
  • Counterfeit or prohibited items, or failed required authentication
  • Anything moved off the platform, including payment or messages
  • Cancelling without an approved reason
  • Invalid or manipulated tracking, or drop shipping from an undisclosed third party
  • Inability to prove possession or shipment
  • Claims filed after the deadline, or failure to cooperate with a review
  • Indirect, speculative, sentimental, or opportunity losses unless expressly covered
  • Losses above the applicable protection or insurance limit
  • Seizure arising from unlawful or prohibited conduct
  • Disputes caused by your own misleading or unauthorized conduct

Payouts and holds

Your proceeds are not released the moment the buyer pays. For a standard shipped order, proceeds become eligible after tracking shows delivery and the buyer's inspection period ends without an eligible problem. New sellers, high-value orders, and higher-risk accounts may see longer holds, reserves, extra verification, or required signature confirmation. We tell you which conditions apply before you enter a binding transaction.
