New: Seller Ratings and Reviews on Completed Orders

September 12, 2026 · 3 min read

Trust in a marketplace compounds. Every completed order on now gives the buyer a chance to rate the seller: an overall 1–5 star rating, plus two checks that matter most in high-value peer-to-peer trades — was the item as described, and did it ship as promised.

How it works

  • Only the buyer on a completed order can leave a review — one review per order, tied to a real transaction.
  • Ratings roll up into a public summary on the seller's profile: average rating, review count, and recent written reviews.
  • Rating summaries also appear next to a seller's offers on wanted listings, so you can weigh reputation alongside price.

Why it matters for sellers

A strong rating history is the fastest way to win offers against lower-priced competition. Buyers choosing between two similar offers will pay a small premium for a seller with a track record of accurate descriptions and on-time shipping. Every completed order is a chance to build that record.

Reviews are permanent and tied to completed orders only — no review-bombing from people who never transacted, and no editing history after the fact.
